Acupuncture Treatment

Acupuncture involves an in-depth consultation to ascertain how certain patterns of disharmony have become apparent. The treatment itself involves a diagnostic assessment of the tongue and pulses of the individual. The tongue presentation is reflective of the whole body and organ function.

There are over 90 different pulse qualities in Chinese medicine. All of which can indicate to the practitioner certain symptoms which might contribute towards the treatment plan. Once completed very fine needles are then inserted at specific points located around the body. The needles are generally retained for 20 minutes and further manipulation occurs after ten minutes.

There are other forms of Acupuncture therapy that facilitates patient recovery and their individual treatment programme. Each therapy form has specific physiological and Chinese medical benefits.
